- Where to buy the Samsung Galaxy Book6 14 inch (2026) with reliability and great prices?
The Samsung Galaxy Book6 14 inch (2026) is Samsung's new-generation thin and light office laptop, designed for students, office professionals, and everyday users who need a compact, dependable machine for work and study. The lineup offers two Intel Core Ultra Series 3 processor options: model NP740VJG-KA1US powered by the Intel Core Ultra 5 325 and model NP740VJG-KG2US powered by the Intel Core Ultra 7 355, both meeting the Copilot+ PC standard. Below is a full breakdown of the laptop's specs.
Compact, Lightweight Design at Just 1.48 kg for Everyday Mobility
The Samsung Galaxy Book6 14 stands out for its portability: measuring just about 14.9 mm thin and weighing roughly 1.48 kg, it slips easily into a backpack or tote bag for all-day carrying. That gives it a clear edge over the heavier 16-inch version, making it an ideal fit for frequent travelers and commuters.
Finished in a neutral Grey with a minimalist aesthetic, the laptop features a well-balanced, centered keyboard and touchpad layout. The overall look is clean and professional, fitting right in across both campus and office environments.
With its lightweight, durable build, this is a solid choice for anyone prioritizing portability who needs a reliable daily companion for work, study, and everyday entertainment.
14-Inch WUXGA Anti-Glare IPS Display
The Samsung Galaxy Book6 14 features a 14-inch IPS display panel with WUXGA resolution (1920 x 1200) and a 16:10 aspect ratio. The taller vertical screen real estate compared to standard 16:9 makes multitasking, reading documents, and working on spreadsheets much more convenient.
The screen delivers 350 nits of brightness along with an anti-glare coating that curbs reflections, keeps visuals clear across various lighting environments, and helps reduce eye strain during extended work sessions. This display quality is more than adequate for office tasks, studying, and streaming content.
To set clear expectations so you can pick the right model: this is a standard IPS panel (not AMOLED like on the Pro version), and this 14-inch variant is non-touch. It works well for routine tasks, but if you need color-critical accuracy for design or prefer an OLED visual experience, you should consider the Pro version instead.
Performance with Intel Core Ultra 5 325 and Core Ultra 7 355
The Samsung Galaxy Book6 14 runs on Panther Lake (Series 3) Intel Core Ultra processors, available with either the Intel Core Ultra 5 325 or the Intel Core Ultra 7 355, paired with Intel Graphics integrated graphics. This configuration smoothly handles office productivity, multi-tab web browsing, video conferencing, and everyday entertainment. Below is a quick spec overview of the laptop.
| Spec | Details |
|---|---|
| CPU | Intel Core Ultra 5 325 or Core Ultra 7 355 (Panther Lake, 8 cores) |
| Graphics | Intel Graphics (integrated) |
| NPU (AI) | Up to 49 TOPS, Copilot+ PC certified |
| RAM | 16GB (optional 32GB) LPDDR5X (soldered onboard) |
| Storage | 512GB PCIe SSD (includes a second M.2 2230 SSD slot for expansion) |
| Display | 14-inch WUXGA (1920 x 1200) anti-glare IPS, 350 nits |
| Battery | 61.2 Wh, fast-charge supported |
| Operating System | Windows 11 |
According to Notebookcheck figures, the Core Ultra 7 355 scores about 11,348 points in Cinebench R23 multi-core and 11,394 points in Geekbench 6 multi-core, providing plenty of power for office multitasking and daily workloads. The Core Ultra 5 325 offers slightly lower performance while still handling standard tasks well at a more accessible price point. Both processors integrate an NPU exceeding 40 TOPS, satisfying the Copilot+ PC requirement.
AI Features with Galaxy AI and Copilot+ PC Certification
The Samsung Galaxy Book6 14 qualifies as a Copilot+ PC thanks to its Panther Lake chip with an on-die NPU delivering up to 49 TOPS. The laptop capably runs on-device Windows 11 AI features alongside Samsung's own Galaxy AI suite, including AI Select for circling screen areas to search, translating text, and converting units right on your display.
The device also taps into the Galaxy ecosystem with features like Quick Share for rapid file transfers, Multi Control for sharing a keyboard and mouse, and Second Screen to extend your display across Samsung PCs, phones, and tablets.
Keep in mind: Galaxy AI features and device integration work best when paired with a Samsung phone or tablet. If you are not in the Samsung ecosystem, you still get all standard Windows AI capabilities.
Backlit Pro Keyboard and Touchpad
The Samsung Galaxy Book6 14 features a two-tone backlit Pro keyboard with a balanced, centered layout, delivering a comfortable typing experience even in low-light environments. It is a practical setup for anyone who frequently types and enters data.
The generously sized touchpad (click pad) fully supports Windows multi-touch gestures, letting you scroll, zoom, and switch applications smoothly without an external mouse. Its familiar layout helps you get up to speed quickly and work efficiently on day-to-day tasks.
Full Port Selection on the Samsung Galaxy Book6 14
Compact as it is, the Samsung Galaxy Book6 14 offers a remarkably comprehensive set of ports: two USB-C ports, two USB-A ports, one HDMI port, a microSD card reader, an RJ45 (LAN) ethernet port, an S-Lock security slot, and a 3.5mm headphone jack. That is a major advantage in office settings, where you often need a wired connection and multiple peripherals without having to reach for adapters.
On the wireless side, the laptop supports Wi-Fi 6E and Bluetooth 5.4, providing fast network speeds and stable connections to headphones, mice, and keyboards. Retaining both an RJ45 LAN port and a microSD slot is something not every thin and light laptop offers anymore.
Along with the primary SSD, the 14-inch model includes a second SSD slot (M.2 2230 form factor), allowing you to add another drive to expand your storage down the road.
Operating Temperatures and Battery Life
The Samsung Galaxy Book6 14 is powered by a 61.2Wh battery that provides enough juice for a full workday, thanks to the power-efficient Panther Lake processor. It also supports fast charging, letting you top up quickly when you need to keep going.
An optimized cooling system keeps temperatures stable during office multitasking while maintaining quiet operation. Under light daily workloads, the machine stays cool and quiet, making it well-suited for classrooms and office spaces.
With solid battery life, fast charging, and a lightweight build, it is a practical companion for users who frequently work on the go without having to hunt for power outlets.
Samsung Galaxy Book6 14 inch (2026) Overview and Review
The Samsung Galaxy Book6 14 inch (2026) is a compelling option in the thin and light office laptop segment, aimed at students and office professionals looking for a compact, reliable machine. Its standout advantages include a light weight of roughly 1.48 kg, an Intel Core Ultra Series 3 processor that meets Copilot+ PC standards, and a rare full port array that includes both LAN and microSD.
It also scores points with a second SSD slot for storage expansion, the Galaxy AI suite, and deep integration with the Samsung ecosystem. It fits users who prioritize portability and want a durable, long-lasting office laptop at a sensible price point.
A few factors are worth considering before you buy: the 350-nit IPS display features standard color gamut coverage and lacks touch support; the machine relies on integrated graphics, so it is not built for heavy gaming or 3D graphics work; the soldered LPDDR5X RAM is not user-upgradable; and the Galaxy AI features work best alongside other Samsung devices. Still, for its intended thin and light office category, the Samsung Galaxy Book6 14 delivers strong value.

The laptop is really light, I feel totally fine carrying it to work or tossing it in my backpack all day. The IPS screen has an anti-glare coating so it's pretty easy on the eyes, no glare. The only downside is this screen isn't touchscreen, so it's a bit inconvenient for tasks that need direct touch input.
