In my assessment, the cooling on this Asus laptop is quite good; even during heavy workloads, the machine does not overheat or cause discomfort. I recommend using the device in a cool office environment for optimal performance.

Impressive powerful performance for heavy workloads

The Asus Vivobook Pro 16X OLED is powered by the AMD Ryzen 7 5800H CPU with a base speed of 3.2 GHz boosting up to 4.4 GHz, ensuring the fastest processing for computational tasks. Alongside this is the powerful dedicated graphics card, the NVIDIA RTX 3050 4 GB, ready to handle everything from basic to complex graphics to meet all user needs. A highlight of the Asus VivoBook 16X OLED is that it can serve as both a professional graphics/engineering laptop and a machine that runs popular games smoothly.

I tested video rendering and photo editing using Adobe software. After some time of design and photo editing, I found the images on the machine to be sharp with high contrast thanks to the 550 nits brightness. Additionally, I worked continuously for 3 hours without experiencing any difficulty or eye strain thanks to the integrated SGS Eyecare technology, providing convenience for easier creativity.

After a tiring session of studying and working at noon, I decided to try the popular game CS:GO and achieved quite impressive results of 80 – 90 FPS. The machine handles every shot stably and accurately, making gaming more exciting than ever. I was quite surprised and somewhat thrilled that this is a professional graphics machine that still possesses gaming performance capable of balancing work and entertainment.

After shooting games, I switched to League of Legends. The Asus Vivobook Pro 16X OLED performs well at 100 FPS; the skill casting feels smooth with no latency during team fights, helping me create impressive plays in every match. Note for users: the frame rate is output at 4K/UHD+ resolution, so this is a very high frame rate for a graphics-oriented machine.

The laptop features 16 GB of RAM, providing powerful multitasking capabilities, allowing users to run many different tabs simultaneously such as online learning, web browsing, watching movies, video editing, listening to music, photo editing,… Most notably, I could run 20 Chrome tabs while listening to music and playing games simultaneously without any stuttering.

The 1TB SSD provides sufficient storage. For those needing a powerful and smooth machine, the SSD is an indispensable factor as it significantly improves application response times, with an impressive boot time of under 10 seconds. Storage space can be expanded by upgrading the SSD, which is suitable for storing large files and applications (supports upgrades up to 2 TB).

I rate the sound quality as quite good, with stable spatial audio reproduction in games like CS:GO and League of Legends. When listening to music or watching movies in a closed room, the sound is not distorted and maintains a harmony between bass and treble.

I was impressed by the experience of gaming on a machine with a unique 4K UHD+ screen that makes game graphics more beautiful, sharp, and vibrant.
