The Dell Precision 7520 is a mobile workstation built primarily for 3D graphic designers and technical graphics professionals.

A sharp display built for graphic design

The Dell Precision 7520 comes with a Full HD display with a premium IPS panel that delivers accurate color, covering more than 90% of the sRGB gamut, true to the "Precision" name Dell chose for it. The 15.6-inch screen is more than enough for professional design work. Dell also offers a higher-end 4K display option, fully optimized for professional design work.

Hardware specialized for technical graphics

The Precision 7520 uses a high-performance 7th generation Intel CPU, along with thorough hardware tuning, so the machine runs technical software such as AutoCAD and Revit smoothly and fluidly.

In addition, the improved Quadro Maxwell graphics card delivers better graphics rendering. Thanks to upgrades in both performance and microarchitecture, the Precision 7520 can fully use the graphics card's power in software such as 3DSMax and Vray.

A versatile set of connections

The Dell Precision 7520 offers a complete and varied selection of ports. It has 4 USB-A 3.1 Gen 1 ports, one HDMI 1.4 port and one miniDisplayPort 1.4 port, both of which support video output, one RJ-45 network port for a more stable wired connection, and a traditional SD card slot so you can easily back up photos from your personal camera. With 2 video output ports, the Precision 7520 can drive up to 2 external 4K displays.

A design shaped by the work

As a high-end workstation optimized for productivity, the Dell Precision is built with a large, bulky body. That body suits technical graphics work that requires long, sustained use. At 3cm thick and 2.8kg, the machine is a bit hard to carry around constantly, but in return its cooling is excellent.
