Gamers building a dedicated gaming rig usually go for a big, imposing case loaded with lights, fans, and flashy accessories. Beelink, the company behind the GTR5 mini PC, is going against that trend, and doing it very successfully.
The GTR5 measures just 168 x 120 x 39mm and weighs only a little over 1kg, saving 80% of the desk space. Even so, it still packs in a processor, RAM, an SSD, and plenty of wired and wireless connections.
The exact hardware configuration of the Beelink GTR5 includes:

With these specs, Beelink is confident the GTR5 can run popular games at high frame rates and high visual quality. Meanwhile, the ultra-quiet dual cooling system keeps the machine at a moderate temperature so it doesn't overheat and crash.
Users can also freely upgrade the storage and RAM through the standard slots inside. The machine supports up to 64GB of RAM and up to 2TB of storage. Both use dual slots, which noticeably improves performance.
Because the campaign raised 4 times its original funding goal, Beelink has upgraded the GTR5 to Wi-Fi 6E and Bluetooth 5.2 to improve both connections. In addition, the power button on the top of the unit now has an RGB LED that lights up whenever the machine is on, fitting for a gaming PC.
Given its compact, slim body, Beelink includes a mounting adapter so you can attach the GTR5 to a wall or the back of a monitor, saving even more space and creating a minimalist yet powerful workspace.
Beelink still lets users order through Indiegogo at a discounted price, from about 14 million VND for the version without RAM and SSD up to 16 million VND for the 16GB RAM/512GB SSD version. The top configuration, with 64GB of RAM and a 1TB SSD, costs only nearly 22 million VND, still cheaper than an iPhone 13 sold in Vietnam.
