Today, Sony has launched the new Xperia Pro-I smartphone.
This is the first smartphone equipped with a 1-inch sensor in the international market.
The Sony Xperia 1 III is equipped with a 6.5-inch display, a 1-billion color OLED panel, 4K resolution, a 120Hz refresh rate, HDR, and a 21:9 aspect ratio.
Regarding specifications, the device uses the Snapdragon 888 processor paired with 12GB RAM and 512GB of internal storage; users can expand the storage space via a microSD card slot. The battery has a capacity of 4500mAh and supports 30W fast charging.
The biggest highlight is the 1-inch sensor derived from the RX100 VII camera but re-optimized specifically for smartphones. This means the Xperia Pro-I uses most of that sensor, but not all of it. The lens section features a 24mm focal length with the ability to change aperture between f2.0/f4.0.
Accompanying the main sensor are two secondary cameras, including a 12MP ultra-wide-angle sensor with an f/2.2 aperture and a 12MP telephoto camera with 2x zoom and an f/2.4 aperture.
The Sony Xperia Pro-I can record 4K video at 120fps. Sony is targeting vloggers with the Vlog Monitor, a 3.5-inch external display with 1280 x 720 pixel resolution that allows users to frame themselves using the rear camera.
The product is priced at 1799 Euro (approximately 47.5 million VND). The Vlog Monitor will be sold for 199 Euro (approximately 5.3 million VND), and users will need to purchase an additional case for 89.99 Euro (approximately 2.4 million VND).
