Elegant, Thin, Lightweight, and Mobile Design

Dell XPS 13 9300 features a newly designed chassis with an almost bezel-less keyboard. Additionally, with only very minor changes, the laptop has a more compact and sharper design, with build quality and finish reaching near-absolute levels. The exterior design features incredibly sophisticated CNC-cut lines, with the white version’s palm rest crafted from woven fiberglass.

When using the Dell XPS 13 9300, it does not leave fingerprints on the surface. The materials used to construct the machine are very exquisite, and the device is well-finished, providing a sturdy body that does not deform under pressure. There is no issue when opening the laptop with one hand, and the maximum opening angle is approximately 135 degrees.

The hinge is well-adjusted, keeping the screen in place without wobbling. The new hinge structure allows the laptop to have a much thinner bottom bezel.

The Dell XPS 9300 has a 13.4-inch screen size, but the overall device remains quite compact because Dell has skillfully narrowed the bezels to increase the visual experience for users. The XPS 9300 screen has a 16:10 aspect ratio, an optimal ratio for office users, making it convenient for typing, working in Excel, or designing and editing photos.

Dell XPS 13 9300 is equipped with Intel® UHD Graphics, providing good and stable graphics processing capabilities.

Dell Power Manager: The Dell XPS 13 9300 uses adaptive performance based on Intel’s latest Dynamic Tuning Technology. This new predictive and adaptive tool helps adjust CPU power to optimize your specific workload, increasing efficiency.

Faster memory, more storage: Equipped with 8GB 3733MHz LPDDR4x RAM and a 512GB M.2 PCIe NVMe SSD, your system can boot and process tasks in a flash, and handle multitasking effectively even with high-intensity applications.

Keyboard and Touchpad

The edge-to-edge keyboard on the Dell XPS 13 9300 has been designed to be wider, with larger keycaps that extend to the edges. The touchpad is also about 17% larger than the previous generation. This new change in the Dell XPS 13 9300 provides more space for your operations, offering a smooth touchpad feel and highly responsive basic gestures.

The manufacturer has also redesigned the keys; the keys are larger and 1mm thinner. With these new changes, the Dell XPS 13 9300 offers a very comfortable typing experience when inputting long texts. The size of the “left” and “right” arrow keys has been made larger to avoid the issue in the 2019 version where users often pressed them by mistake due to their small size. The power button also integrates a fingerprint reader that works quite well, providing better data security. The Dell XPS 13 9300 is equipped with a two-level backlit keyboard.

Diverse Connectivity

The Dell XPS 13 9300 is fully equipped with connectivity ports to ensure diverse connection with other devices. The I/O configuration has been streamlined to just 02 USB-C/Thunderbolt 3 ports to minimize the thickness of the machine. Additionally, it is equipped with a Micro SD card slot and a standard 3.5mm Audio I/O jack.

On this laptop model, the Dell XPS 13 9300 has removed one USB-C port compared to the older version, and the battery life indicator light is also gone.

In real-world WLAN testing, the XPS 13 9300 runs for nearly 12 hours and achieves 8 hours at maximum screen brightness.
