The performance of the A370M matches what Intel has announced, meaning it can play AAA titles at Medium settings, 1080p resolution, with frame rates above 60 fps. However, compared to the Radeon RX 6500M, it still lags significantly, ranging from 27% to 114% depending on the game.

The Intel Arc 3 A370M uses Intel’s Alchemist-generation ACM-G10 GPU with 8 Xe cores (128 XVE), a clock speed of 1.55 GHz, and 4 GB of GDDR6 memory, with an FP32 performance of approximately 3 TFLOPS. Meanwhile, the Radeon RX 6500M is an entry-level GPU from AMD, utilizing the Navi 24 RDNA 2 architecture, 16 CU (1024 Stream processors), a maximum clock speed of 2.4 GHz, 4 GB of GDDR6 memory, and an FP32 performance of 4.915 TFLOPS. Setting aside architectural differences, it is evident that the A370M is not a direct competitor to the Radeon RX 6500M; its FP32 performance suggests it can only compete with NVIDIA’s MX450 or MX550/570, while for AMD, it would likely be the Radeon RX 6300M.

It remains unclear which specific laptop models AMD used to benchmark the A370M and compare it against the RX 6500M, nor is the power consumption of the two GPUs during these games specified. It is only known that both the A370M and RX 6500M have a maximum TDP of 50 W. Additionally, through the slides published by AMD, it can be seen that Intel manufactured the Intel Arc A-series GPUs on the TSMC N6 process, similar to the Radeon RX 6000 Mobile. The transistor count of the Intel Arc A370M reaches 7.2 billion, significantly higher than the 5.4 billion transistors of the RX 6500M.
